Merna Hecht, a nationally known storyteller, social justice educator, and published poet and essayist will be the inspirational guest speaker. Her work uses poetry and writing to help young people cope with trauma, loss, or difficult transitions. Merna emphasizes the complex beauty and vulnerability that come forth when people are given the space for telling their stories.
