The Lena Bundy Quartet Bios

Lena Bundy (Vocals)studied jazz in Stockholm in the early 90's. She has an extensive career as a singer in Europe, having performed at Copenhagen Jazzhouse, Camden Jazzcafe, Roskilde Festival, Copenhagen Park Cafe, Tivoli as well as a multitude of weddings and parties including having performed for Queen Margaret of Denmark and the royal court. She is a teacher of violin, vocals, choir, interpretation and performance. In Denmark, she was a regular on Danish television, radio and tours working closely with Danish Jazz greats.

Josh Rawlings (Piano) is an American pianist, songwriter and record producer. His band, The Teaching, wrote and recorded a song "Bom Bom" for the Macklemore album The Heist, which became the most successful instrumental single on that multiple GRAMMY winning album. Josh earned his first GRAMMY nomination for his contributions on that album. Rawlings' critically acclaimed work with the Seattle jazz group Industrial Revelation has yielded numerous accolades and awards including a "Seattle Stranger Genius Award".

Marina Christopher (Bass) is an award-winning bassist and jazz vocalist, with awards such as Earshot Magazine's Emerging Artist of the Year, and the Seattle-Kobe Vocal Jazz runner-up. Whether she is performing with her trio, duo or just solo bass and voice, Marina is the whole package and she has developed into a multi-talented, highly in-demand artist on the Seattle jazz scene. She makes bass playing and singing look absolutely effortless, it is clear she has serious musical chops and a serious love for not taking life too seriously. Her jazzy style can easily bring back the sounds of a by-gone era or elevate todays hits. Marina's original songs and arrangements range from laments to straight-up bangers.

Jeremy Jones (Drums) Jeremy attended college at Duke University where he received the Lionel Hampton Scholarship for Jazz Studies. After graduation he was selected to the Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Jeremy received a GRAMMY nomination in 2014 for playing drums on the Macklemore & Lewis's album, The Heist which was nominated fore the Album of the Year.
