Calling all String players! Violist Leslie Johnson will present a 2-hour long Community Music Masterclass.
Any solo player, or small groups (trios, quartets, quintets) of violin, viola, cello or bass, with or without piano, are invited to perform up to a 10 minute piece, and receive a 15-minute lesson in front of the audience. Space is limited to a total of 6 soloists or groups, so sign up early.

When signing up, please be sure to include your/group's name, as well as the piece you will perform. An extra copy of the music score for Leslie to view would be much appreciated as well!
Dr. Leslie Johnson has performed many times on Lopez Island, and holds a Doctorate in performance from the University of Washington as well as a Bachelor and Master's degree from the Juilliard School. Leslie performs chamber music and solo throughout the northwest, and has a large viola-only teaching studio in Issaquah, Washington.
