We invite you to a Town Hall where the community can hear directly from LIHD and CWMA about their preferred potential partner, Sea Mar Community Health Centers, to operate the clinic. During the meeting, you’ll receive updates on the process to identify a new operating partner, learn more about Sea Mar and why they are a good fit for Lopez Island, and participate in a Q&A session with submitted questions.
The Town Hall will be moderated by Dr. Sandy Melzer, a seasoned health-care executive with more than 30 years of experience in clinical leadership, including planning, developing, and operating a 46-site specialty care network across four states�"many in rural and underserved communities. He now advises leading hospitals and health systems across the U.S. and internationally. A part-time Lopez Island resident, he is deeply invested in the community.
