Pause and Reset Mindfulness Retreat

By registration: Adult $80.00
What can a day of pausing from the outer distractions and continuous busy-ness of daily life offer us? The answer will be different for each one of us, but restoration and transformation are among the possibilities.

On this mostly silent day of continuous, teacher-led practice, we’ll weave together body based meditations, including the body scan, mindful movement, and mindful walking along with a medley of sitting practices such as breath and sound awareness among others.

This retreat is designed to support your body’s natural capacity for resilience, helping you to reconnect with yourself in moment by moment awareness. Practicing silence during the course of the day allows the nervous system to recharge, leaving you more able to embrace the fullness of life.

Whether you're new to mindfulness or looking to deepen your practice, this retreat is a perfect opportunity to nurture your well-being and rediscover the joy of simply being.

Retreat leader, Teresa Johnson, is a certified Mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (8-week course) facilitator who lives in Friday Harbor. A member of the Mindfulness Northwest (Bellingham)teaching staff since 2018, she is excited to share mindfulness classes, workshops, and retreats with the island communities through her business, Mindfulness Matters, LLC.
